TECPINT SUPER is the simplest and most economical option for facades in good condition: water-based acrylic paint with high whiteness, washable and with good coverage.
TECPINT SÚPER CUBRIENTE goes one step further in coverage and fast drying, ideal when the façade has dark colours or stains that need to be perfectly covered.
And if the façade is exposed to rain or has occasional surface moisture problems, RELAS FACHADAS is the solution: specific waterproofing paint for façades, with great coverage, whiteness and performance, which does not splash and protects the substrate against water in a lasting way.
Before the first coat of paint is applied, the facade must be in good condition. If there are cracks or damaged areas, our special filler will TECPINT PUTTY is ready to use without mixing - plugs surface cracks in seconds. For deeper repairs to cornices, pillars or areas of structural damage. M-REPAIRING FACADES is a repair mortar with special fibres that restores the substrate's solidity before painting.
Mineral-based paints - lime or silicate - VOC-free, fully breathable. Tecno Prodist ecological and mineral paints are radically different from any conventional acrylic paint: Tecpint Sol silicato Ecologic, for example, does not form a surface film but integrates with the substrate, which makes them extraordinarily durable and with a permanent anti-mould behaviour without the need for biocides. They can be applied both on the original substrate and on a substrate painted with other paints.

Ecopigment are inorganic water-based liquid dyes designed to colour any ecological paint, varnish or water-based paint from the Tecno Prodist range. Unlike conventional dyes, their inorganic formulation is fully compatible with mineral paints such as Lime Ecologic, Sol-Silicate or Zeropure, without altering any of their technical properties - breathability, anti-mould or absence of VOCs. This putty is ideal for serious thermal insulation problems. Good preparation is as important as the paint you choose and skipping this step is the number one cause of paint flaking or poor durability.

If you’re planning to apply any of our eco-friendly paints, you’ll still need to repair any damaged areas and use a specific primer, SILICATE-BASED CONSOLIDATING TECPINT, In the case of UNPAINTED PLASTER or PLASTERBOARD surfaces, apply TECPINT ECOLOGIC PRIMER. If there are surface cracks, clean up and apply TECPINT PUTTY ready to use without mixing.

Conventional acrylic paint forms a surface film on the facade, is cheaper and easier to apply. Ecological and mineral paints - lime or silicate - are fully breathable, silicate-based paints integrate or fossilise with the substrate, have permanent anti-mould due to their alkaline pH and their breathability, do not contain biocides and their average durability is more than 6 or 8 years. They are especially recommended for historic buildings, damp façades or projects where quality and durability are a priority.
Yes, although lime or silicate mineral paints require thorough stirring with a mixer for a few minutes before application and may need an additional coat on very dark surfaces. In return, they offer eco-friendliness, real breathability, permanent anti-mould, are natural and very durable.
This is totally normal, mineral paints, given their natural composition, solidify a few days after they are manufactured, this is totally normal, you simply have to stir the product, if possible with an electric mixer for 3 - 5 minutes and it will change to a more liquid texture. Then, always in a separate container you can add 5 to 10% of water maximum and stir again, with this the texture will be ideal to apply as any paint. NEVER add water to the original pot before stirring the paint.
Most Tecno Prodist paints are suitable for both uses. Those in the range of ecological paints are especially versatile - lime and silicate are materials that have been used for centuries on facades for their durability and weather resistance, making them even more durable in interiors.
It depends on the degree of the problem, if it is a medium or high problem of rising damp from the ground (the so-called rising damp) you should remove the current rendering and reach the original substrate (brick, concrete, etc.) up to a height of 20 cm above the highest area where the damp reaches (example: the humidity rises from the ground up to 80 cm, in this case you should remove the rendering up to 1 metre) then you should render the whole area with our TECNOCEM CAL ECOLOGIC mortar (extra-breathable mortar), leave to dry for a few days and then finish by applying a coat of Tecpint Consolidante al silicato and 2 of any of our ecological breathable paints, for example Tecpint Cal Ecologic or Tecpint Sol Silicato Ecologic, with this the wall will breathe but the damp and bad smells will not appear, solving the problem. In the case of very slight damp, remove the areas of paint that are in poor condition, if there is mould, use water with bleach to remove it, let it dry and apply any of our ecological paints, such as Tecpint Cal Ecologic or Tecpint Sol Silicato Ecologic.
