Description
TECNOCEM CAL FINE is a fine-finish mortar based on calcium hydroxide, fine aggregates with controlled particle size and special additives. It is designed to be applied in a thin layer, from 1 to 3 mm, over cement or lime renders and plasters such as our TECNOCEM CAL ECOLOGIC, TECNOCEM HIDRO or IMPER HUMEDADES. It is also suitable for use over cementitious waterproofing membranes or for the restoration of historic buildings, to which it provides a decorative finish with a fine-trowelled or smooth, natural-looking surface that is fully breathable.
Its formulation contains no cement or salts, and is permeable to water vapour. It allows the substrate to ‘breathe’ and is compatible with weak or deteriorated substrates. This makes it particularly suitable for the restoration of façades and historic buildings, as well as for new-build projects, residential properties, hotels and shopping centres. Furthermore, it is non-combustible, with a Euroclass A1 fire reaction classification, and bears the CE marking in accordance with standard EN 998-1 (GP).
It is applied using a stainless steel or plastic trowel and smoothed with a fine-sponge trowel as it begins to set. It offers excellent workability and is easy to apply, and the tools can be cleaned with water. For greater adhesion and better curing, it can be mixed with RESIPRO PLUS.
Outdoors, once cured, it is recommended to protect it with breathable, transparent water-repellent products such as HIDRO A or HIDRO A+. It can also be finished with a breathable paint such as TECPINT CAL ECOLOGIC or TECPINT SOL SILICATO ECOLOGIC.

Hello, I used another waterproofing mortar from this brand, Tecnocem Hidro. I needed to achieve a very smooth finish, and this product is ideal for that; I’m pleased with the result.

I needed a breathable plaster to level out a wall that had damp; this product has turned out perfectly – completely smooth and breathable. It’s very easy to apply in a thin layer, and the quality is superb.

Good morning,
I applied the product to smooth out a damp wall where I’d previously used another mortar from this brand, Tecnocem Cal Ecologic. We found the interior finish too rough – like a sand-and-cement render – so we applied 2 mm of this fine-finish mortar with a metal trowel and it turned out perfectly, just like the original plaster. We left it to dry for a week and then applied the Tecpint Sol Silicate Ecologic paint, as recommended by the manufacturer. To be honest, it’s turned out perfectly – I’d definitely recommend it.
