I have tried this type of passivator before and it does the job. This one, in particular, has surprised me favourably because, in addition to protecting against corrosion, it creates a fairly hard layer that works very well as a primer prior to the top coat of paint.

It goes very very well. I used it on some chairs that were in very bad condition in order to restore them and paint them afterwards. So far (I've been using it for 2 months) the chairs are perfect.

Good product with a milky texture, it adheres well, it is like a watery glue and has a matt black colour and I sprayed it on a roof with a 1 litre spray bottle and a brush to spread the product.
After about 30 minutes it stays like glue, which can render the sprayer unusable.

This substance is to help remove rust once to clean loose rust, it will stain some material but can be washed off while still wet. it dries quickly, it is so good to work with. it does exactly what i bought it for, so i am happy with it. it works .
